David Sonntag

CEO, Head Honcho

Dave Sonntag has an events management resume stretching back to 2001, and brings an agency background from his time as a Vice President at PR firm Fleishman-Hillard. As CEO of Decibel, Dave has produced a rather extensive array of large-scale events from meetings, festivals and concerts, to mobile media tours and Presidential campaigns. These events also include the National Small Business Week awards ceremony and the National Book Festival, the latter of which sees hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Dave is proud to include among his clients multiple marketing, advertising and PR agencies, as well as government and Fortune 500 clients.

Dana Lipson

Project Manager

Dana Lipson is a Project Manager for Decibel and the creative drive behind many of our events and projects. She has a background in marketing and design which grew into a passion to create unique event experiences. Dana also manages the permitting operations for our mobile tours and street team activations.

Elizabeth O'Brien

Event Coordinator

Elizabeth may be one of the five Americans who work in the industry they majored in, getting her start at the Special Events Program at UNCG, and moving on to a dynamic career in event planning. She's particularly good at organizing galas, weddings, and other events that need a healthy dose of romance and magic.

Jim Feely

Trade Show Coordinator

Jim spent his formative years learning the ins and outs of event management as his parents’ knee. Now all grown up and harboring his own passion for the family trade, Jim works with our clients and manufacturing partners, turning our customer’s vision into a reality.
